The Model BP-2.5 Ultra features one massive 20-amp (continuous rating) LoNo* transformer and was designed for larger audio/video systems with high current demands. Includes 10 Hubbell premium outlets and our C-9 power cord. The Model BP-2 Ultra sports one large 15-amp (continuous rating) LoNo* transformer--suitable for most audio/video systems. Includes 10 Hubbell premium outlets and our C-9 power cord. The Model BP-1 Ultra uses one 7.5-amp (continuous rating) LoNo* transformer--suitable for smaller audio systems, audio front end components or a dedicated video installation. Includes 10 Hubbell premium outlets and our C-9 power cord.
The Model CPC Clean Power Center [left] is a power extension base to add multiple outlets for expanding A/V systems. This is no ordinary power strip but sports the same heavy construction and quality featured in our Ultra Power Isolators, minus the balanced isolation transformer (a 300VA, 2.5A balanced isolation transformer can be added). Think 10 lbs. power strip [compare that to the competition] with 10 high current premium Hubbell outlets, 12 gauge finely stranded Oxygen Free Copper wiring, removable audiophile grade power cord, spike/surge protection, on/off magnetic breaker switch, heavy case damping, high-quality filter network on each duplex for complete component isolation and silver solder throughout. The CPC is available as a 15-amp version with 15-amp IEC or 20-amp unit with 20-amp IEC and includes our C-9 power cord. protection and line filtering in a no compromise, direct wired, high
current design with no transformers or inductors in series with the
power path. Unit includes all of our best upgrades: EP-2000 module, premium
IEC inlet, magnetic circuit breaker current
overload protection, machined aluminum faceplate, set(4) stainless
steel Iso-Cones, ERS cloth covering the inside of the chassis and our best

(PPC shown in 20A version with EP-2000 upgrade) The model PPC Pure Power Center is a 6 outlet power extension strip designed to mate sonically with our Balanced Power Isolators. It can also be used as an extremely high quality stand-alone extension strip for non-BPT owners. This units offers the same unmatched performance level of our other units at an affordable price and will easily surpass the performance of comparable models from all other audio manufacturers. The secret lies in our no compromise pure copper chassis that creates an impenetrable RF barrier. No chokes, filters, surge suppression, switches or lights are added for an absolutely pure high current connection. The finest IEC inlet is used along with premium outlet receptacles. The outlets are star wired finely stranded 12 AWG Oxygen Free Copper wire— with hand silver soldered connections, of course. No power cord is included with this model. Upgrade options are available. ( More info ) Designed to work in concert with our balanced power isolators, BPT power cords are hand-assembled in a proprietary configuration using the finest parts available. Our cords improve the sound of any component by producing lower background noise, tighter bass, greater dynamics and finer detail resolution. They look great and custom lengths are available. Power cords may be ordered with 15 or 20-amp IEC and 15 or 20-amp AC plugs. Clarity The model C-9 is our 9 AWG high current design that uses finely stranded Oxygen Free Copper wire.. The AC & IEC plugs are Furutech FI-11-- chosen for mechanical integrity and superior sonics. This cord can be characterized as dynamic, detailed and above all, musical. Introducing the successor to our highly praised L-10 power cord (see 6Moons review of our L-10)--with the same design, quality and sonics but in a heavier gauge for even more current delivery. The model L-9 is a 9 AWG high-current design using ultra-fine gauge Oxygen Free Copper Litz wire--where each individual hair-thin strand of high-purity copper is coated with a 5000V-rated dielectric film. This design eliminates strand interaction and provides an operative frequency extension beyond 200KHz. The hot-neutral-ground legs each have equivalent 9-gauge bundles and is very flexible (not heavy and stiff like other high current cords). Terminated with the finest P-004 and C-004 15A plugs by Oyaide (other plugs availble). The sound is characterized by lightning-fast transient response, neutral tonal balance and unhindered frequency extension in both directions, offering supreme low-level retrieval with superb midrange and bass definition. In fact, the L-9 is more neutral and has better transient response than most manufacturers speaker cables or interconnects. Comparable cords cost more than $1,000.
Our speaker cables use finely stranded OFC copper (Oxygen Free Copper) in a low inductance, low noise design. All models are high current 7.5 AWG, available with gold plated spades or banana plugs and are suitable for driving any speaker system.
The model SC-7.5 is our 7.5 gauge Oxygen Free Copper speaker cable-- low noise, dynamic, high resolution speaker cable. Tonally balanced for excellent mid range body, clean high frequencies and full bass impact. Compares with any cables under $500. The model SC-7.5L (Litz) is our 7.5 gauge Oxygen Free Copper Litz speaker cable--low noise, dynamic, high resolution speaker cable. Neutral tonal balanced with pinpoint imaging, tight bass and extended high frequencies. If you cherish transparency, speed, focus and resolution--you will love these cables (planar, electrostatic and high efficiency speakers users will adore them). Low amount of dielectric jacketing is used (compared to other cables designs) for superior neutrality and lack of coloration. Compares with any cable under $2000. The model SC-7.5LN (Naked) is our 7.5 gauge Oxygen Free Copper Litz speaker cables in a special ultra low dielectric design. No conventional dielectric polymer jacketing is used--simply an open weave expandable sleeve made of Teflon for the least surface contact with conductors possible. It has the same wonderful sonic qualities as our SC-7.5L but with improvements in overall neutrality, musicality and sonic realism. This is as close to a "straight wire with no sonic coloration" as you can get. Our finest speaker cable and reference. Available with gold or silver plated spades--your choice. The BPT Interconnect Lineup: Our IC-SL is born of frustration with most interconnects available. Sure there are some great sounding interconnects that are designed correctly in the $2000 and up category but hardly any under $500. Most interconnects in this category suffer from poor transient response, soft dynamics and compromised quality of parts. Enter the IC-SL---we start at the ends with the finest WBT Nextgen Signature pure silver, platinum plated RCAs, which are the fastest, most neutral, finest sounding RCAs available. Next is the wire, which we have custom made to our specifications since there was nothing available that met our criteria for resolution and speed. This is a high purity silver Litz wire design using multiple 40 gauge (3.1 mils or .0031 inch diameter) strands for the conductor and wrapped in a pure cotton dielectric, then helically wound around a pure cotton core--yielding outstanding transient response. The sound is tonally neutral with extended bass and high frequencies. The midrange is simply there---pure, tactile, dynamic, real. A shielded version is available and unique in that the shield (and the RF noise trapped by the shield) are not attached to the signal ground--like all other designs. Balanced XLR version available. Cable Stilts IC-SL Iso-Base Iso-Base—BPT has gone back to the drawing board to improve the performance of their existing isolation platform and come out with an entirely new design with much improved performance. Our earlier designs and most platform manufacturers designs rely on multiple layers of compliant material for isolation. We tried them all and found that while they do improve the low level detail and noise floor, it was always at the loss of speed and transient response. Our job was to find a way to make the improvements without the compromise. Our new Iso-Base uses hardened 316 stainless steel cones to instantly transfer energy to its center platform where it is dissipated on a dampened sheet of hardened 316 stainless steel. Note the use of the same hardened materials for maximum energy transfer. You will hear an increase in overall low level detail, much improved pitch definition in the bass and greatly improved high frequency transients. Iso-Base is a 13" triangle about 2" in height.
CABLE STILTS Cable Stilts—Our new isolators for speaker cables, power cords and interconnects. Cables that lie on a carpet are subject to increased capacitance from the carpeting acting as an additional dielectric, static electricity that is stored in the carpeting and vibration from the solid floor. Cables that lie on hardwood or tile are subject to heavy floor vibration. Cable Stilts solve the problem by lifting the cables off of the flooring and suspending them on an elastomer for increased vibration isolation. You will hear an increase in detail, lowered noise floor and less smearing in the high frequencies providing a more relaxed natural sound.
ALESIS MASTERLINK ML-9600 MODIFICATIONS Signature Mod (digital section) includes: Replace power supply capacitors in the localized power supply feeding the digital section with extremely low ESR Nichicon capacitors for reduced noise and super low impedance even at high frequencies. Add our 20,000uF Cap-Pak to the digital power supply creating a low impedance, extremely stiff power pathway. Add polystyrene bypass capacitors to the power supply for improved high frequency performance. Replace the 40 pin ribbon connection cables between the hard drive to digital board and from the CDRW drive to the digital board with our custom high speed silver/copper/Teflon 80 wire ribbon cables. Dampen and shield chassis, CDRW drive and hard drive with copper foil to reduce RF noise contamination and 3 layer damping material to reduce mechanical noise. Create an extremely low impedance ground pathway to shunt high frequency noise using our custom 12 gauge high purity copper Litz wire for all power supplies. Dampen and shield digital clocks and critical digital ICs for improved performance. Replace digital IN and OUT RCA jacks on rear panel with the finest WBT Nextgen Signature silver and platinum RCA jacks for greatly improved detail resolution, smoothness and high frequency performance. Replace the digital output pulse transformers (2) with the absolute finest available from Scientific Conversion Inc. ---$500 Signature PLUS Mod (digital and analog sections) includes all the modifications listed above plus: Replace capacitors in the localized power supply for the analog section (includes headphone power supply) with extremely low ESR Nichicon capacitors and non-polar BlackGates. Add our custom 20,000uF Cap-Pak (with polystyrene bypass caps) to the analog positive and negative DC power rails creating a lower noise, stiffer power supply. Replace all polarized electrolytic caps in the signal path with the superbly musical BlackGate non-polar NX caps. Replace generic op-amps (8 total) with superb quality, low noise, high speed Burr-Brown ICs. Replace IN and OUT RCA jacks, L & R ( 4 total) on rear panel with the best WBT Nextgen Signature silver and platinum jacks. Add our custom stainless steel Iso-Cones (with cup protectors) to reduce vibration interference that blurs the sound.---$1000 At the customers request, we can purchase a new ML-9600 for modification. Current "street" price is around $799. We highly recommend using our L-9 power cord (see above) with your modified Masterlink for best performance. Using a high quality isolation platform will also improve performance. Our modification work has a warrantee for 1 year from date of purchase (parts and labor) to the original owner/purchaser.
